The flowers are up and you are still in the field, or the celebration is decoration over a floor that isn’t sound. Either come in, or fix the frame before you hang the wreath. Joy that is delayed too long starts to taste like duty.

History

Four staves raise a floral canopy; two figures lift bouquets toward a castle town. Smith’s scene is often read as a Jewish wedding canopy or a simple country fête. Fire, at four, becomes a household. Waite’s keywords were concord and harvest — the first solid roof the suit builds.
