A cup is being offered, water already overflowing. This is new feeling, a chance at tenderness, a yes the body recognizes before the mind writes a speech. Receive it: you do not have to marry the whole river today, just take the drink that is in front of you.

Reversed

a cup held closed · numbness · love not yet pourable

The dove is circling and the lid is still on. You may be protecting a dry well, or flooding the kitchen because you will not name a smaller thirst. Crack the cup. One honest feeling, admitted, is enough to start the water moving.
